CAMPGround25 | March 13–15, 2025
CONTEMPORARY ART MUSIC PROJECT (CAMP) will host its annual international new music festival CAMPGround25 from March 13 to 15, 2025. More information and tickets here!
Purchase a bundle ticket or be a member ($50 per year) to enjoy free access to all festival events and other concerts throughout the entire season. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door (credit cards and cash).
CAMPGround25 Final Concert
Saturday, March 15 at 4pm
CAMPGround: 4216 N 31st Street, Tampa, FL
The opening night presents installation and electroacoustic works at Tempus Projects.
The second night, CAMPGround25 presents electroacoustic harp, Tampa's street dance group Disfunktionals, duets, two world premieres, and different ensemble works at Tampa's unique gallery, Red Door No.5
This noon time concert offers a relaxed program with chamber music and duets in an intimate setting, plus a world premiere and intercultural ensemble music!
The closing concert happens in a new music salon, CAMPGround in East Tampa. This unusual event offers audience a rare opportunity to mingle with musicians. The open mic invites all people to present their artistic voices with any means. All are welcome!

CAMP is excited to announce Chihchun Chi-sun Lee as the CAMPGround25 Commissioned Composer!
Taiwanese-American composer, CHIHCHUN CHI-SUN LEE’s works were described as “eye-openingly, befittingly, complex, but rather arresting to hear” by Boston Globe, “exploring a variety of offbeat textures and unusual techniques” by Gramophone and “eastern techniques blended with sophisticated modern writing style” by “Amadeus” Il mensile della grande musica. Lee has received honors including winning the 1st Brandenburg Symphony International Composition Competition in Germany, 2024 MACRO Composition Competition and receiving a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Theodore Front Prize from IAWM, ISCM/ League of Composers Competition, an International Festival of Women Composers Composition Prize, and 3 nominations of Golden Melody Awards for “Best Composer” & "Best Crossover Music Album Award". She has received commissions from Boston Symphony Orchestra (the 1st Taiwanese and the 4th Asian composer), Fromm Music Foundation at Harvard University (2001 & 2018), Barlow Endowment, the Taiwan National Culture and Arts Foundation, British Columbia Arts Council, Canada, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Taiwan Philharmonic, National Orchestra of Korea, and Taiwan National Chinese Orchestra, just to name a few. Lee has written more than 50 compositions for traditional Chinese/Korean/Japanese instruments. Her music has been performed at Carnegie Hall, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, UNESCO International Rostrum of Composers, ISCM World Music Days and various international festivals and broadcasts worldwide (over 40 countries in 5 continents).
